Physiotherapy Physiotherapy is a natural method of treating and preventing injury and disease. A Physiotherapist helps the patient maximize functional movement and ability by using a variety of hands-on treatments, an exercise recommendation, and education. Physiotherapy has widespread applications. It can help an individual gain strength and flexibility, reduce pain, and promote greater independence. It can also help virtually any condition that affects the muscles or nerves. One of the primary applications is in rehabilitation from stroke or injury.
